I was there with my family (as usual), trying to stay out if trouble, and just....avoiding dad, lol. We we're all in a prayer hall greeting each other and I was having lovely conversations with some friends. Mum and the girls left to go and check out a book club type of thing. I wanted to go too, but I was talking so I didn't see them leave. When I finished talking I went to find them and the room they went in. (and with no luck, I didn't). I went into other rooms though. I found Meme (my sister) not long after my search. (I kind of just gave up after almost coming face to face with groups of men, over a thousand times) We went outside and I saw more of my friends and greeted them. They were standing near against a wall opposite a hut, that was placed on another wall. Making it elevated. A bin was also to their right (my left) and a small gazebo, to their left (my right). Two men were sitting in there talking. Apparently they owned the mosque. As usual I take no notice to them (even though the were complaining at us (my sister and I, while we we're talons to our friends). I could hear them but chose to ignore them and told the little group that we formed to go to the little hut that was sat on a wall. We had a very nice chat about the owners and then it turned dark. Obviously! As a creature of the night- (I'm still human, I just really like night time at the mosque). I went outside and saw on of my friends I wanted to show her a building that used to be a Chapel, but was turned into a little hang out room for the visitors of the mosque. I had gone in there previously in another lucid dream that I had. It was small and cute and had pretty lights. But tonight it was dark and no one was in there, but I took my friend anyway. We had to sneak in and mind you my subconscious self has never done it before, but my lucid dream self, definitely has so I let her take the wheel on this one. (Any worries my subconscious self had of my lucid dream self getting into trouble vanished, because my lucid dream self, always seemed to know what she was doing). We eventually made it to the main door and when my friend opened it, there was a sort of...gate- blocking entry. So we made our way back. (In a rush mind you because we heard some noise and saw my Dad at he window, so we bolted). We got back into the mosque and parked ways. I'm not sure of where she went but I went to the kitchen. It wasn't the kitchen, but it was a smaller one. Upon entering I saw my elder brother and a guy, who looked around the same age as us. So about....20? (At the time, I had no idea I was going to cause a bit of mischief with the Guy). There were unopened bags of take away left on the counter, and we were hungry so we started to take them out of the bags and arrange them for eating. One of the foods contained "arachnids". Which is commonly known as "spiders". Super creepy to wanna eat- but we're not gonna talk about it. We were laughing and having fun with the food, until we heard someone come in. It was a woman, who now I think of it must've worked somewhere in the mosque. When she left we decided to hurry and tidy everything up, before the owners came in. We seemed to be done for as we heard them coming and dispersed. The guy (whose name I forgot) went straight out of the door, as to distract them and give me time to escape. And I had the rubbish bad that had empty boxes (that once contain food). They must've thought that they still contained food because they were chasing me as if it did. It was absolutely hilarious. I made it our side to where I had seen my friends standing near the black bin and scrambled to tie the bad before putting it in. It was absolutely hilarious. The guy and I were laughing so much. But unfortunately i had to keep my distance once my Dad cane outside, with his phone just inches away from his ear. He had been on the phone all day now that I think about it. Everytime I saw him he was on the phone. That's probably why he didn't get to set me straight all day. I feel bad because I didn't even look at the boy once I saw my Dad. I just....woke up.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and your dream appears to be rich with social dynamics, familial relationships, and personal exploration. Here’s a breakdown of some key elements in your dream and their possible interpretations:
Family Dynamics: The presence of your family throughout the dream suggests that family relationships and dynamics are significant in your waking life. The act of avoiding your dad might indicate feelings of tension or unresolved issues. It could also reflect a desire for independence, where you’re navigating the familial structure while seeking connection elsewhere.
Social Connections: Engaging in conversations with friends demonstrates your need for social interaction and support. The prayer hall might symbolize a communal space where you feel safe, perhaps linking to your cultural or spiritual identity.
Searching for Loved Ones: Your quest to find your mother and sisters suggests feelings of longing or a fear of missing out on shared experiences. Not seeing them could represent feelings of disconnection or uncertainty about your relationships.
The Hut and the Chapel: The hut and the chapel conversion symbolize transformation and the idea of finding new spaces that resonate with you. The contrast between the previous bright and inviting atmosphere and the current dark state may represent a fear of losing joy or familiarity in new endeavors or situations.
Embracing Nightlife: Your identity as a "creature of the night" suggests comfort in exploring the unknown or unconventional aspects of life. Nighttime can signify a time of reflection and freedom, indicating a desire to delve deeper into your interests without restriction.
Mischief and Playfulness: The playful encounter with the food and the camaraderie you shared with the guy reflects a desire for fun and spontaneity in your life. The absurdity of your actions, like escaping with a rubbish bag, conveys a sense of rebellion against ordinary expectations.
Fear of Authority: The chase initiated by your dad reflects a fear of being reprimanded or controlled. Your father's repeated phone calls might symbolize distractions that interfere with direct communication, leading to misunderstandings or missed connections.
Waking Up: Ending the dream upon seeing your dad may symbolize a return to reality or a recognition of responsibilities, perhaps suggesting you may feel burdened by expectations or pressures upon waking.
Overall, this dream appears to explore the themes of familial relationships, social connectivity, the desire for independence, and the balance between playful rebellion and responsibility. It could reflect your current emotional state, as well as your hopes for freedom and personal exploration while managing complex family dynamics.
